In September 2014 the ‘Mirror of Hope Foundation’ was established in Elle Holmes honor.  The Mirror of Hope Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable company with a mission to highlight and reduce the suffering caused by self-harming and body dysmorphic disorders, especially to teenage girls. In particular we are focused on highlighting awareness of the inherent dangers behind the ‘pro-ana’ and ‘thinspiration’ communities, and of the phenomenon of self-harming.

The first endeavor of the foundation has been the ‘Mirror Mirror’ Project. This project aims to both realize Elle’s dreams of attaining recognition for her music and delivering her important message.

Setting up an international helpline where children can get help in their own language anywhere in the world and to educate parents, teachers and carers about the dangers of thinspiration.

Any additional funds received will be used to further enhance the project (perhaps a symphony orchestra!) or will go towards the production of the Mirror Mirror Video.
