In September 2014 the ‘Mirror of Hope Foundation’ was established in Elle Holmes honor. \u00a0The Mirror of Hope Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable company with a mission to highlight and reduce the suffering caused by self-harming and body dysmorphic disorders, especially to teenage girls. In particular we are focused on highlighting awareness of the inherent dangers behind the \u2018pro-ana\u2019 and \u2018thinspiration\u2019 communities, and of the phenomenon of self-harming.<\/p>\n
The first endeavor of the foundation\u00a0has been the ‘Mirror Mirror’ Project. This project aims to both realize Elle’s dreams of attaining recognition for her music and delivering her important message.<\/p>\n

Setting up an international helpline where children can get help in their own language anywhere in the world and to educate parents, teachers and carers about the dangers of thinspiration.<\/p>\n

Any additional funds received will be used to further enhance the project (perhaps a symphony orchestra!) or will go towards the production of the Mirror Mirror Video.<\/p>\n
